Rest Assured Links and Resources

There are many wonderful opportunities in San Diego that are in need of volunteers. These are just a few of the ones that I have personal knowledge. Please refer to your county.

Links:

Find a Grave:

This is a wonderful site that can bring family and friends together from around the world. I have been a volunteer photographer for 6 months. All of the photo requests that I have completed have been at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery. Having spent time walking around other cemeteries in San Diego history lessons are abundant.

San Diego Eldercare Directory:

This a the greatest resource for families when the need arises. All the information in one place. For years I have used this as a resource for my family and friends as it takes away the frustration of "Where do I start". Please let me know if you have questions.

Senior Home Care USA:

This is a wonderful resource for those of you who might be looking for a caregiver for a family member or friend. Sheila Moody, the owner has a vast knowledge of the industry, as she has worked professionally as a caregiver in facilities and privately.

Blooms from the Heart:

Blooms From The Heart sends a message of caring and compassion to those in need by recycling flowers from events, venues and businesses and delivering the re-purposed arrangements to San Diego area hospitals, senior homes, hospice centers and other facilities where they can be enjoyed.

Resources:

Future Primitive Graphics:

I can personally recommend Barbara J. Rogers, for your Logo, Banner and Website needs. Barbara is an excellent teacher, has patience and communicates in terms I could understand when it came to my website. I have truly enjoyed the learning process under her direction. She is responsible for my branding which I am very proud of and focuses on working with small to mid-sized businesses in bringing their vision to life.

Wholesale Flowers and Supplies:

You will love the experience of walking through their front door. The beautiful fragrance of all the flowers is amazing. I am blessed that it is close to my home. Their customer service is great, always willing to help. Their supply of fresh flowers and all the supplies you may need are at your finger tips. Enjoy a trip to the store or visit their web site.

Safari Signs:

This is the first sign company where I walked in and was greeted and made to feel welcome. I was there to see about a sign for my car. Wow, I was promptly given the information and a quote. They communicated their specs clearly and worked closely with Barbara from Future Primitive Graphics to produce the final artwork needed within a week. I was extremely happy driving away with my new sign on my car. Friendly, professional, fast and affordable.
